It seemed that Tessa had been hit with the yucky tummy bug. Very upsetting for this mama to go in her room in the morning and realize that she had obviously thrown up, off and on, throughout the night. We never heard a thing. Sad and scary to know she struggled through it all, flat on her back and all by herself, without any help. Mommy and Daddy have always been close by for every single one of her tummy bugs and hate that she faced this one alone.
Saw the doctor that afternoon...it actually was not a tummy bug, it was strep. Since Tessa is non-verbal and unable to tell us when her throat starts to hurt...the intense pain that goes along with strep can lead to vomitting. Very thankful to have an answer, an antibiotic, some phenergan gel and weekend full of rest ahead!
Love her snarl-face and was so thankful for a glimpse of her sass!
This began the journey of a very sick bynumfive! Hence the very long and overdue "catch up" post!
We've had a rough start to 2016 and we are praying things start leveling out soon!
