A Picture Captures It All

If the Christmas season is heavy, emotional and overwhelming for you...for whatever reason...I would challenge you to consider this...

Imagine a moment...6 years old...looking up at Santa...unable to speak, unable to whisper in his ear or beg of him to tell you which list you are on, unable to hug his neck or sit proudly on his lap...and yet, you experience the magic of Christmas...

What if you are speechless, at the mercy of his embrace and comfort in the moment of splendor and awe. It's a magical encounter that you find inadequate ability to express the excitement to those around you.

But... as a child of God...the reason for Christmas is the birth of Jesus. It's HIS birthday...the day our Savior came for us. So for a moment, you marvel at the magic of Santa...but you find peace and overwhelming gratitude in the gift that was given and the ultimate sacrifice that was made...for us.

Santa is magical...we all want our 6 year old to experience that awe and wonder...but, Christmas is when Christ was born...a birthday that indicates salvation and freedom.

In this moment...Tessa saw the magic...she found out what list she was on and she spoke her wishes gazing into Santa's eyes. But more than that...she knows the true meaning of Christmas and it's a spiritual magic that can't be matched.

The preciously unpredictable pictures with Santa!!!
Tessa told Santa with her eyes, she was very convincing 😍 ...
Weston wanted nothing to do with any of it 😒...
and Parker did his thing, holding everything together 😘

A couple of our own pics we got at the Hearts for Hearing Christmas party :)
Love my sweet crew
