Just a little explanation:
The first 55 seconds of this video are with Tessa's CI processor hooked up to the computer and she is only receiving the sound of tones (which she is responding to very positively), once the video makes the transition at 56 seconds, Tessa's CI is turned on and for the first time she is hearing the world (aka: mommy and daddy ;)
It was amazing to talk to our sweet girl...well really...amazing is an understatement!

Okay my dear...I have tears. What a BEAUTIFUL moment. Whitney, I am so happy for all the progress that has been made since the day she was diagnosed. She is such a wonderful little girl and you can just see her amazing spirit in those sweet eyes of hers.
