She knew something was about to happen...it's always exciting when the camera comes out!
Maybe in shock a little here...
But it quickly turns into complete relief and smiles!
We've tried so many times to get Tessa talking on video. She talks all the time but always ends up distracted by the camera. I was so thankful to capture some sweet talking here...it was so important to me to get this on video at least once before everything changes here in a couple of weeks with her CI activation! Love love to hear my sweet girl's voice! (she's still a little hoarse here from intubation...but it is still so precious!)
Thank goodness Tessa's PT still had the loaner bath chair! She brought it over for us to borrow since we have to be sure and keep Tessa's incision out of the water. Thanks Melody!
Her fohawk was flying high after her first bath in 4 days!
It's really hard to believe that's it! It was pretty swollen when we first took the bandage off so we couldn't get a good picture of it. But this is what it looks like now and it's healing up just perfectly!
