Tessa had a wonderful mapping appointment at Hearts for Hearing today! Everything seems to be in working order with her Right Cochlear Implant and not impacted by her head trauma from the beginning of the summer. This was great news considering how much Tessa loves her ears!

Tessa's limited motor control makes it a little more difficult for her to show us effective responses to the sounds she hears. We are always coming up with new things to try that are motivating for her! During these videos they are playing tones directly into her Cochlear Implants and we are encouraging her to hit the tambourine when she hears them. This whole process allows them to make adjustments and program her hearing levels accordingly.
