Such Dear Friends

We went to the zoo yesterday with the precious Trinh family. Amanda, Tyson and Eli have been priceless friends to us and we will miss them terribly when they relocate to Dallas here in a couple months. Amanda is the reason behind why I have the job that I have now: in 2005 she was kind enough to get me an interview at Riata...and who knew 5 1/2 years later it would have ended us up where we are today. Parker and Eli are just about 3 months apart and have such tender hearts towards eachother. When Tessa was born, the Trinh family took Parker in like family and let him stay at their house until we got out of the hospital. And when Tessa was diagnosed, Amanda came up to the hospital one very lonely evening just to listen and be a shoulder for me to cry on. And when Tessa was hospitalized at the end of December, Amanda and Eli were at the hospital ER within 30 minutes to pick up Parker and take him back to their house. They have been the kind of friends that you never feel worthy enough to have. The kind of friends that you never could have imagined needing as much as you do! I can't imagine life in Oklahoma without them, but I am so grateful that the friendship we have is the kind that will exist regardless of location and miles between us.

Amanda, Tyson and Eli, thank you for your friendship! Thank you for loving us and giving Parker such love and care in the moments when we needed help the most. Thank you for praying for us and always being there to talk to. The boys have a bond that melts my heart! "Thank you" will never be an adequate expression of my appreciation or describe the blessing it has been to have ya'll in our lives. We love you, we will miss you, but we look forward to the adventures we will have together in the future!

Ha ha, by the last picture it was clear we had probably over-stayed our time at the zoo! They were both asleep before we made it out to the car! It was a great day with great friends!
