Last night was amazing. We had 'Meet The Teacher' night at SJN and it was such an incredible experience. We have been working through details with Tessa's teacher for a little while now, and last night we were able to meet the precious kiddos and families in Tessa's Pre-K class.
The kids were amazing and the parents too!! So kind, so open, so excited to be sharing in this experience with us. It was more than we could have ever hoped for. Tessa and Ms. Kathryne shared lots of special moments together; exploring the classroom and figuring out good options for positioning and opportunities for participation.
Mrs. Croom has been a blessing since the minute we first met her. God has gifted her with the ability to teach and love creatively...a truly incredible gift. And Ms. Kathryne is a gift to Tessa and our family. It did this mama's heart good to see them together in what will be their daily environment...giggling, smiling and just enjoying each other. These two women have already changed Tessa's life in really big ways!
Tomorrow is the first day of school, and I have never been more excited about that! No dread, no disappointments, no stress, no heartbreak...just humbled to know that this is what God had planned all along. I never saw it coming and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world!
