Changes!!

Tessa's OT at school found a hi-low chair they had in storage and cleaned it up for our little Miss!

She has done great in it and loves sitting at the table with her friends!

this was at UCO this last Friday...propping and sitting up on her own!

She would even sway a little and correct herself so she didn't topple over!

And I just love Ms. Kayla's big ol smile in the background!

And this is the craziest of all! (well, not really, it's all crazy ;)

We went out to eat with some friends Friday night and Darin threw a few puffs out in front of Tessa...

it didn't take her 2 seconds to reach over to them and start popping them in her mouth!

I couldn't believe it.  I heard that she had done it a few times at school, but I still couldn't believe it when I was seeing it with my own eyes! 

(yes, I'm in shock on the video!)

Huge steps!  HUGE!

note: yes we would love it (and so would Ms. Deb and Ms. Melody) if Tessa was actually looking at her puffs as she picked them up, but hey, a step at a time ;)

Darin got these videos on Saturday of Rocky being so sweet with Tessa!

She even starts being a little toot in this one by pulling on his ear...as she looks up to her Daddy to see if she's gunna get away with it!  

And no, she doesn't ~ little stinker ;)

Facing Forward!

Darin and I decided that it was time to turn little Miss around in her car seat!  It is recommended to stay rear-facing for as long as possible for kiddos that have low neck and trunk control...and we decided, that at 3 years old and 36 inches in length...it was time ;)

Darin switched the car seat around Saturday night, so our Sunday morning drive to church was Tessa's first experience facing forward!!  She LOVED IT!  And that's even an understatement.  She giggled the whole way to church.  And every time I glanced back at her, she giggled a little more.  It was so nice for her legs to not be all scrunched up and for her to finally be facing forward with the rest of us!!

I love it how the small things make her day!

Boys are so FUN!

They love Mohawks and riding scooters in the house!!!  

Parker is the sweetest and funniest little boy I know...and he sure knows how to make this mama smile!  How do you say no to him riding his scooter inside when his sister has this many choices of her own wheels at any given time ;)

She doesn't get to grow up that much on the 1st day of school!

Birthday Evening Progression

First, we had a meltdown...

Things don't always go as planned for us, but sometimes it just makes the memories that much sweeter!

Tessa held her own bowl, stuck her hand in the bowl, and pulled out a hand-FULL of cake and put it in her mouth!  We shouted, we laughed, we praised!  I guess her little nap was exactly what she needed in order to eat her cake All-By-Herself!  ;)
