PT and the Rabbit

Ms. Melody brought the trial-Rabbit dynamic stander back this week for Tessa to use until her own Rabbit is delivered (hopefully we'll get it soon!). We had been waiting for Tessa to make a full recovery from her CI surgery and activation before we got her back in the Rabbit. We also needed to wait before we put her back in her headmaster collar that she needs for support while she is in the Rabbit.

We are always doing some kind of rigging to get Tessa good and comfortable (hence the green kneeling pad behind her head, the pink dog tucked on her left side, and the red pillow under her arms)...but it worked out really well. She was so content, and I even got a few smiles. It's always a huge thing to watch her be content and happy when she realizes her world just changed. I think this is one of the first times we've put Tessa's headmaster collar on her and she didn't throw a fit...it is not the most appealing thing in the world...that's for sure. It is a huge blessing when she enjoys the things that are really good for her little body in the end!

It is really really nice to be able to roll Tessa around and help her explore her environment with the dynamic stander. I love the days when her world gets just a little bigger and bigger!

Parker is always so eager to help his sister explore the world around her too! I'm pretty sure she gets a little more excited when he's around, than when we are ;)
